My Top 6 Favorite “Star Wars” Quotes and What They Taught Me about Life
"Star Wars" is one of my favorite movies in the entire Universe.
Here are my top six fave Star Wars quotes plus what they taught me about life. 🙂
I. Luke: "I don't believe it." Yoda: "That is why you fail."
I believe in the power of visualization.
If you want something badly (fit bod, bigger bank account, whatever the case may be), then you must be able to picture it vividly in your mind (how else will you figure out how to get there?).
II. “I cannot teach him. The boy has no patience.” -Yoda
The best health + fitness plan is one you can sustain for the rest of your life. Why bother trying to lose weight fast when you will only gain it back the second you quit following a restrictive diet? Slow and steady wins the race.
III. "You must unlearn what you have learned.” -Yoda
Conventional does not = correct. Rules are meant to be broken. How else do you think progress happens?
IV. “Look, your Worshipfulness, let's get one thing straight. I take orders from just one person: me.” -Han Solo
You should be dependent on one person for your happiness: you. Do not change yourself to fit anybody else's mold. If somebody doesn't like you for the unique (awesome) person you are, that's their problem.
V. “Well, I guess you don't know anything about women yet.” -Leia
You guys... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you probably don't.
VI. "Rrrrrrr-ghghg.” -Chewbacca
